BACKGROUND & VALUES

Since moving to Clark County in 2014, I’ve called both Camas and Hockinson home, immersing myself in our community’s vibrant spirit. With two master’s degrees and a corporate background in governance, policy/process analysis and project/program management, I have the education and practical experience to understand the issues, analyze the data and promote sound solutions/amendments. Additionally, I have nearly a decade of dedicated involvement working on state and local issues, earning trust by bridging diverse perspectives and focusing on shared goals to unite our county.

I’m committed to representing every resident, ensuring your voice shapes our Home Rule Charter. My priorities are clear: secure funding for public safety to address rising crime, promote fiscal responsibility with our tax dollars and pursue fact-driven, common sense transportation solutions.

My proven experience and clear communication drive my commitment to Clark County’s future. I respectfully ask for your vote so that I can help deliver a safer and stronger county for everyone.

Mission
To champion a charter for Clark County that amplifies residents’ voices, ensures transparent, accountable governance, and creates a balanced power dynamic between elected officials and appointed staff. I will foster open community engagement, scrutinize charter provisions that centralize power, and advocate modifications so that both County Council members and the County Manager remain fully responsive and answerable to the public they serve.

Vision
A Clark County where every citizen feels seen, heard, and empowered—through regular, inclusive forums and accessible processes enshrined in the charter. A county government where elected and appointed officials share power responsibly: elected representatives set the strategic direction and policies, while an appointed County Manager and staff execute them efficiently under clear accountability. Together, we build a collaborative, responsive, and democratically grounded county.
